Report reaching us has it that the Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has disclosed that the body has been working with the possibility of conducting a “mock examination” to test its preparedness with the new technology and also examine some people that are desirous of knowing their competence with the JAMB examination.

He made this known during interaction with newsmen after a meeting with JAMB officials and other stakeholders regarding the new Information Technology being introduced into the system to make it less stressful to candidates.
He added that so far the the board has been working on increasing the capacity of the CBT centres to maximize their effectiveness to examine more candidates within a given date.
He mentioned that an estimated 1.7 million candidates are expected to register and sit for the Computer Based Test (CBT) across the country which is expected to commence soon
